From Herbal Roots to TrendHive – My Story as Lekeleli Komane

If you’ve stepped into TrendHive.org.za, you already know the vibe: pure, potent, no-nonsense herbal power in every jar. But behind the Moringa, Shilajit, and Lion’s Mane is one woman who’s been obsessed with the healing magic of plants for as long as she can remember.

I’m Lekeleli Komane – healthcare activist, serial entrepreneur, and unapologetic lover of everything that grows in the earth and actually works.

I didn’t wake up one day and decide to sell supplements. This journey started way back in the dusty streets and lush gardens of my childhood, watching my grandmother grind moringa leaves, boil rooibos, and press aloe straight from the plant for whatever ailed us. Those weren’t just remedies – they were love, wisdom, and power passed down in mortar and pestle.

Fast forward, and I became the woman who couldn’t walk past a health store without flipping every label, asking “where did this come from?”, “has it been tested?”, “is it strong enough to actually feel?” I was tired of watered-down “wellness” trends, greenwashed bottles, and products that looked pretty but did nothing.

I’m a healthcare activist at heart because I believe real medicine often grows quietly in soil long before it’s bottled in a lab. I believe South Africans deserve access to the same high-potency roots, resins, and herbs that the rest of the world is raving about – without the insane import markups or questionable quality.

So I built TrendHive.
